Sierk A. Horn is Professor of Business Management at FH Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences. Before that he was Professor of the economy of Japan at the Munich School of Management, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität. He holds a Ph.D. in Modern Languages and Habilitation on Cross-cultural Management from Freie Universität, Berlin, Germany. Much of his work takes the perspective of resilience of individuals and organisations and sits at the juncture of social psychology, language, and international management. He is a regular commentator on how organisations tackle fragile environments.

Rick Rasmussen is an Industry Fellow and Member of Faculty at the University of California, Berkeley. He is the Director of Startup Programs for the Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology where he is responsible for creation of new programs centering on Entrepreneurship and Corporate Innovation

Mr. Rasmussen is a Silicon Valley native that has been part of five IPOs, three billion dollar exits, assisted over a dozen accelerators and mentored over 1000 companies. He is active member of the Sand Hill Angels investment group. Mr. Rasmussen has an EECS degree from UC Berkeley as well as a dual MBA degree from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and Columbia’s Graduate School of Business in New York City.

Carlos Rosa is a researcher and lecturer at IADE-UE of Laureate International and visiting professor at Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences (Austria). He holds a Ph.D. Cum Laude in Business Sciences (Marketing) from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Madrid), a master’s degree in Educational Multimedia Communication (UA Lisbon), and bachelor degrees in Sociology (ISCTE Lisbon) and Business management (HTC-London University). Author of the book: Monitor Always On: Synchronic Modelization of Quality of Service. 1994, IADE Editions, Lisbon.
